Weekly Kickstarter Round Up: Wednesday 24th June

24 June 2020

This week is a real mix!

This may be the most varied of all the Kickstarter Round Ups we've done. We've got a mad tea party, we've got a game going undercover to defeat a sinister global organisation, and then a game that seeks to become the sinister global criminal organisation, plus a brand new JRPG and a calming game about building a rainforest.

Things Heroes Say

This is a smaller project than many, with a funding goal of £350 - which is currently at £3,415, and we can see why. This is a collection of fantasy illustrations inspired by RPGs, as well as some phrases that have cropped up from the creators own playthroughs.

Canopy

Who doesn't love a peaceful game? We've seen a number of garden or plant-based games, and this adds to it - Canopy, where you'll be growing the most bountiful rainforest. You'll need to put real thought into the ecosystem you build, as you play over different seasons.

Where am I? Alice in a Mad Teaparty

This is a Japanese game that includes a real miniature tea set, and comes in a box set up to look like a book. It ticks a box as a nice game to own. But what's the game? Surprisingly, it's a bluffing and deduction game, with elements of what it describes as controlled chaos. The designer is no stranger to classics, as also the creator of Snow White's Apple Roulette
