One of Marvel’s most cinematic storylines is headed to Upper Deck’s Legendary Deck Building Game next year.

Marvel Noir was a series of mini-series published in 2009 and 2010 which mixed up the publisher’s superhero universes with the style and tone of film noir and pulp fiction. Many of the issues were acclaimed for their artwork and storylines, starring fan-favourite heroes such as Daredevil, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Punisher, Iron Man, Deadpool and Luke Cage.

The Noir small box expansion for Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game will include five of the alternative-reality stars: Spider-Man, Iron Man, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Angel. Fitting in with the visual flair of the genre, all of the cards will feature original art with four unique images per hero.

The 100 new playable cards included in the set will also include two villain groups, two masterminds and four schemes. A single-page colour rule sheet will also be included. As you might expect with an expansion, the Core set is required to play.

Marvel: Legendary Deck Building Game – Noir Small Box Expansion will hit shelves in February of next year.
