New entry in the series set to debut at GenCon.

Some of our favourite filler games to come out over the past few years are Rumble in the House and Rumble in the Dungeon by Ken Rush. Both feature incredibly simple gameplay that sees players trying to claim a stash of treasure, without having their character killed off by an opponenet. The trick is, however, that all players can move any character token they want, while potentially keeping their actual identity a secret.

So, with this in mind, we were delighted to see that CoolMiniOrNot is publishing the latest in the series: Cthulhu in the House. Featuring all-new art from legendary artist John Kovalic (Munchkin, Kobolds Ate NMy Baby, etc.) and new gameplay mechanics, Cthulhu in the House promises to be a brand new, yet familiar, experience.

Cthulhu in the House is a royal rumble to see which Old One has the staying power to outlast their opponents. Players will hide their identities and compete over three rounds of battle to determine who is the toughest! Cthulhu in the House adds a new feature to the Rumble series: Portals. These eldritch gateways will let players teleport around the board and change the outcome of fights, bringing a new level of strategy to the series.

The game will debut at GenCon (like so many titles this year) and costs $24.99. Hopefully it'll be available everywhere else soon too. Let's get ready to rummmmmmmble....
