Saxon Miniatures reveals new mounted knight models, teases Norman spearmen

Historical models maker Saxon Miniatures has unveiled a new set of horse-mounted knight figures due out very soon.

The company posted a teaser image of the knights and their armoured steeds on the Saxon Miniatures Facebook page, clarifying that the sculpts had been finalised and submitted for manufacturing – but that the need for horse moulds may mean a slightly longer wait than usual before release.

The firm also hinted at some of its upcoming releases for later in 2017, naming unarmoured Norman spearmen and armoured early Saxons as two of the projects currently in the works.
