Outlet in Folkestone, Kent will include gaming space, games library, food and drink, and play host to tournaments

Chaos Cards is one of the bigger and better online retailers selling tabletop games in the UK at the moment, and now the company is making its move onto the High Street with a new real-life shop down in Kent.

The brick and mortar outlet will be based in Folkestone’s Sandgate Road and will span a sizeable 4,000 square feet.

As well as games to buy, the shop will have room to play, a library of titles to crack open and try, food and drinks, and ‘regular’ tournaments and events held in-store.

Doors will open on the first time on Saturday April 29th, and to celebrate there will be a host of games available to play, including Gorechosen, Arkham Horror: The Card Game and Magic: The Gathering on the board and card side of things, plus Test of Honour, X-Wing, Runewars and Guild Ball for miniatures fans.

A Magic tournament will be held upstairs, with a Pokémon TCG competition on the Sunday. Also on the Sunday will be demos of sci-fi wargame Infinity and open access to the catalogue of games.
