It's a game that is fast and simple to play, while providing enormous depth for engaging character development and story. The players portray the Hypertellurians: adventuring the length and breadth of the Ultracosm, in retro science fantasy style. Take control of one of six archetypes, and choose or create a unique concept by layering on fun, inventive, and story-driving powers.

The game is aimed at players who like fast and daring gameplay, quick character generation, compelling character powers, natural language rules, and a Swords & Planets vibe. Hypertellurians is a stand-alone roleplaying game system, but it is compatible enough with most old and modern fantasy adventure games for the GM to convert modules from those systems on the fly. It includes valuable tips for players and GMs, a 1-spread rules summary, and a choice of 3 character sheets.

The (M)Anvil edition comes with a brand new starting adventure, Marvelous Voyage to the Viridian Moon, loaded with illustrations, and designed to be exceptionally easy to reference during play, while being packed with wonder and adventure, beyond just hack and slash.

Enjoy the lavishly illustrated 156-page premium hardcover, redolent with adventure, and play as a cursed shapeshifter, the walking dead, a pilot from a different time, a galvanic war machine (with pilot seat), a bratty princess, an excitable half-pony, an alien colour, or so much more.

Hypertellurians is available now from many retailers and web shops, including SoulMuppet Publishing in the UK, Mottokrosh Machinations in the EU, and Exalted Funeral in the US. The PDF version comes with the physical books, or can be purchased separately at DrivethruRPG.

“Hypertellurians is a stunningly beautiful RPG book. It synthesizes the best of old school principles with new school advances and feels like Oswald Bastable meets Zothique.“—Ahimsa (अहिंसा), Twitter

"A really well put together book, extremely high production values, lots of beautiful art. It seems very well tested, and the adventure itself also looks like a lot of fun. I love all of the detail on the ship and the way that you can poke into almost any room and you'll find lots of different things there."—Ben Milton, Quest Beast YouTube Channel

“Top 10 RPGs of 2019 - 1.) Hypertellurians: Hypertellurians is the best RPG I’ve read this year. Full stop. It’s exceptionally well-written, well-grounded, thematic, fun to read, and beautifully laid-out and illustrated. It evokes all the great pulpy paperback covers I remember laying around houses when I was a kid (not my house, but houses we’d go to). It’s just peak 70s pulp science fantasy and I love everything about it here. I love this game and it’s now my go-to science fantasy game.“—Alan Bahr, alanbahr.net

“[…] reading Hypertellurians from @Mottokrosh. It’s a thing of solid ecstatic joy. Reading a new RPG should make you smile - make you grin madly at the possibilities it offers. Hypertellurians does just that :).“—@spookshow71, Twitter
