Arcane Wonders to publish Bryan Pope and Jason Medina’s design in April

We’re not sure about you, but if there’s one historical race we’d rather not get into an argument with, it’s the Vikings.

Just because we have yellow bellies, that doesn’t mean everyone does. Designers Bryan Pope and Jason Medina have decided to kick up a fuss with the horn-helmeted seafarers in their new game, Spoils of War.

The dice-rolling game of bluffing and betting is themed around the Norse explorers returning home and deciding how to share out the goods. Three to five players compete to win the best treasures of each round in gameplay that sounds reminiscent of Liar’s Dice (also known as Perudo). A match takes around 45 to 60 minutes.
