1.1.4 update also tweaks chests bundles and adds option to toggle between tablet and phone UI

The digital version of Paizo’s Pathfinder Adventure Card Game has had its fourth major deck added, Fortress of the Stone Giants.

The deck introduces a new campaign where Sandpoint is under attack from the titular Stone Giants, spanning five new scenarios and four new locations.

Fresh maps and loot come as part of the add-on for the free-to-play mobile and tablet game, with those who complete every scenario on Legendary difficult able to unlock the Guide to the Beyond, which helps with Outsider checks and magical buffs.

Pathfinder devotees who own the bundle will nab the Birdcruncher Crown promo card, which adds boons when Goblins are defeated.

As well as adding the new deck, Pathfinder Adventures’ 1.1.4 patch also bumps up the number of chests found in bundles in the store, with five chest bundles now providing six chests and 10 chest bundles increased to 12. The 50 chest bundle stays at 50.

Another change is that chest bundles can no longer be bought with gold – although single chest purchases can still be picked up using gold, with players able to buy up top 25 single chests in a single transaction.

Developer Obsidian has also addressed the divisive user interface for smartphones, introducing the ability to freely switch between the tablet UI and phone appearance.

A number of other fixes have also been included in the update – see the full list on the Obsidian forums.
