Reading’s Eclectic Games will play host to Rob Daviau, as well as the head of studio Days of Wonder and Baron Munchausen designer James Wallis

Reading-based hobby store Eclectic Games (full disclosure: co-owner Becky Ottery writes a regular column for TTG about the state of tabletop retail) is bringing its EclectiCon event back for a second year, and it’s signed up some star guests for the weekend show.

EclectiCon II will take place all-day on March 25th and 26th, running from 10am and featuring talks and special events from industry names including Pandemic Legacy and SeaFall designer Rob Daviau, Days of Wonder GM Adrien Martinot, Once Upon a Time and Adventures of Baron Munchausen creator James Wallis (who also contributes to TTG magazine, for what it’s worth), and Steve Buckmaster, the MD of UK distributor Esdevium.

Among the events will be a game of extravagant storytelling title Baron Munchausen hosted by Wallis; Pandemic Survival, where two teams race to save the world in Matt Leacock’s co-op disease-curing classic ahead of their rivals; and a gaming-themed pub quiz – with prizes!
