Tabletop Gaming Issue 117 Out Now: From Justice League Unlimited to Cyberpunk Legends!

22 July 2026

Tabletop Gaming Issue 117 joins the ranks of DC’s superheroes to let you be the hero, and heads to Night City for the Cyberpunk Legends card game!

Hello gamers!

One of the coolest things about tabletop gaming is that it pulls from so many great entertainment sources. Our recent magazine covers have featured a monstrous kaiju, a fan-favourite Disney character and a manga classic – with DC superheroes powering it this month.

It’s been 20 years since the gods and monsters of the DC Comics universe officially appeared in a tabletop RPG, but Justice League Unlimited: The Roleplaying Game (p14) is here to let you be the hero you always wanted to be.

Elsewhere, we count down the 10 best board games of the 1980s (p28) and celebrate a Dungeons & Dragons DM whose incredible, in-depth world lives on after his death (p78).

That’s all before our world-class reviews section, which this month delivers our verdict on titles as diverse as Bookshelf, DC Breakout, Disney Villainous: Success At Any Cost, Fatherfog 0E, Kryptothera: The Cryptid Pursuit and Sovereign: Fall of Wormwood.

Happy gaming!
