We’ve already had a sneak peek at some of the guests who’ll be heading to Lucca Comics & Games 2026 for the show’s 60th anniversary, with comic-book artist Claudio Castellini (Conan the Barbarian, Spider-Man, Silver Surfer) and the following names confirmed:

Today, at a press conference in Milan, we learned that Joe Manganiello is coming to Lucca Comics & Games 2026, tasked with overseeing the Dungeons & Dragons lineup as the Honorary Curator of the D&D Programme for Lucca Legacy. And he’ll be bringing Tracy Hickman with him!
“It is I, Joe Mangienello, Chief Creative Officer of the Dungeons & Dragons Icons line, her to let you know that in lieu of Lucca Comics & Games’ 60 anniversary I have accepted the position of Honorary Curator of the Dungeons & Dragons programme for Lucca Legacy 2026. That’s right, I’ll be returning to restore order by brining back the roots of Dungeons & Dragons classic settings and original lore and worlds to the forefront,” Joe said in a video filmed for the press conference.
“And as my first order of business – well Margaret was busy, so she can’t make it,” he added, panning across to Dragonlance author Margaret Weiss, before moving the camera across to another subject, “But this guy is available. I will be returning to Italia with my friend Tracy Hickman.”
Tracy will be joined by Laura Hickman, who co-created the iconic Ravenloft setting with him for D&D.
Not to be outdone, Chris Perkins, former Head of Story for D&D but now Creative Director for Darrington Press, will also be there for Daggerheart‘s latest expansion, Daggerheart: Hope & Fear. He’s joined by Elise Rezendes, Senior RPG Producer for Critical Role.
Elsewhere, MiniLima will be highlighting their first ever game, Harry Potter: Defenders of Hogwarts. And Lucca will be the first event in the world where attendees can sit down and play the game. In another exclusive, Hidden Games is creating Murder Over the Legacy. This murder mystery has been especially created for the event and is presented by MS Edizioni.And dV Games will have three premieres at the event for a big anniversary, showing off Combo Creatures, Black Flag and Traditori a Bordo! One Piece.
Ravensburger presents A World of Shared Play, highlighting the titles Horrified: Ravenloft, Tap 4, Carcassonne Labyrinth and 7 Lives. Asmodee is brining a special Lucca edition of the game Toy Battle that includes dedicated stickers, as well as celebrating Luppi Mannari di Roccascura (The Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow) on its 25th anniversary.
The Art of Fabula Ultima, an exhibition focusing on the tabletop roleplaying game, will feature work from Catthy Trinh, Edward Tsang Rui Maruyama and Yumo. A major link up between the media company Factanza and the game publisher Giochi (a “Factanza con Giochi Uniti” in Italian) has resulted in The Social Contract board game – rebuilding society, once choice at a time. And Clementoni presents Where Curiosity Becomes Play, including a dedicated Star Wars area featuring Star Wars: The Metamorphic Art Collection and an R2-D2 robot, as well as exciing new releases such as Geo Pop and Fingargh!
Lucas Graciano, Ryan Pancoast and Steve Prescott will celebrate the event with three original artworks created for Galactus, a prominent hobby and tabletop gaming store network in Italy.
Meanwhile, Magic: The Gathering will host the launch of Star Trek Universes Beyond, in what is also the 60th anniversary year for that TV franchise. Hellbreak – the hot new trading card game by Spinmaster – also brings that new TCG to Italy for the first time. Riftbound will show off its Secret Garden Limited Gift Box, which is a tie-in with the game’s Unleashed expansion (and contains: 3x Alternate Art Cards – Ivern “The Green Father”, Lillia “Bashful Bloom” and Ultrasoft Poro) – as well as 5x double-sided alt-art tokens, 2x packs of landscape art sleeves (60 per pack), 2x postcards, and 3x Unleashed booster packs).
And Boose and the Art of Cards (BooseMTG being a prominent figure and vendor in the trading card game community who organises artist booths and exclusive collaborations at major European conventions) will feature Evyn Fong, Alexis Ziritt, Domenico Cava, Justine Jones and Paolo Parente.
The Naruto TCG will also be sharing an exclusive first look with con goers and have a special Chakra card as a promo, while Yu-Gi-Oh! and the Cyberpunk TCG will also have a presence.
Lisciani Giochi keeps it homegrown, showing off new Rainy Days titles Il Canto Delle Volur by Maria Chiara Bagli and Sabba by David Spada, which have been entirely made in Italy with Italian authors and illustrators. And Hollow Press debuts new expansion sets for Kartomantik, Pozzo and Pilgrims of the Murkdome, as well as new gamebooks.
Paolo Mori, who was was named Game Designer of the Year at the Italian ioGioco Awards in May 2026, will also be in attendance.
At the same event, the three leads of the Percy Jackson TV series were confirmed to be at the 2026 event. Walker Scobell (Percy Jackson), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth Chase) and Aryan Simhadri (Grover Underwood) recorded a small video played at the event telling the gathered audience how excited they were to be coming to Italy.
Creators behind the hit animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will also be attending to discuss the second season of the show.
