So, what is actually is a Fast Grow Challenge? You’ve probably heard of a hobby Slow Grow: build and paint an army gradually over a longer period. Earlier this year, Mantic ran one for Kings of War, with members of Team Mantic taking part alongside the community.
For Halo Flashpoint, Mantic has decided to turn the idea on its head. Why? Because it thinks one of the great things about Halo Flashpoint is how quickly you can get it onto the tabletop. Many Fireteams are made up of just four miniatures, so you don’t need months of painting before you can start playing.
In fact, the team believe you can do it in just nine days! Here’s the event timeline:
Gamers are being asked to share their progress with the hashtag: #HaloFastGrow
The Army Painter is supporting the Fast Grow challenge, with a prize draw for people who complete the challenge that could scoop you an Army Painter Speedpaint Wargamers Mega Set 2.0 box set of paints worth £187.
