The biggest names in tabletop RPGs have been recognised at this year’s ENNIE Awards, with The Crooked Moon, Daggerheart and Legend in the Mist among the night’s biggest winners
The 2026 ENNIE Awards have crowned the year’s best tabletop roleplaying games and products, with the winners announced during Gen Con 2026. The 2026 ceremony saw The Crooked Moon, Legend in the Mist and Daggerheart emerge as the three most prominent titles of the night.
The Crooked Moon, the folk-horror D&D setting from Avantris Entertainment, claimed five gold awards, including Product of the Year, while Daggerheart secured three golds and a silver, and Legend in the Mist claimed two golds and four silvers.

However, the awards once again demonstrate the breadth of the tabletop RPG scene, with established games such as Vaesen, Warhammer: The Old World and Pathfinder appearing alongside independently produced titles including SPINE, Triangle Agency and The Bonsai Diary.
Folk horror was a particularly strong theme across this year’s awards. Dolmenwood won Best Setting and Best Cartography, while The Crooked Moon dominated several of the production-focused categories.
