Family-friendly Tabletop Gaming Live heads to Doncaster Racecourse for the 2027 half term for a weekend of games, demos and community
Looking to end half term with a bang in 2027? Building on the success of its 2026 show, Tabletop Gaming Live heads back to Doncaster Racecourse on February 20-21, 2027, bringing thousands of tabletop enthusiasts together for a weekend celebrating board games, roleplaying games, trading card games, miniatures and more.

Opening Hours: Saturday 9:00am-6:00pm (open gaming until 10:00pm); Sunday 10:00am-4:00pm

The two-day event created by the team behind Tabletop Gaming magazine once again welcomes everyone from seasoned hobbyists to complete newcomers, offering an accessible environment packed with opportunities to discover new games, meet publishers and designers, and connect with the wider tabletop community.
Families will also find plenty to enjoy, thanks to a dedicated Family Zone designed to introduce younger players to tabletop gaming through age-appropriate games and activities in a welcoming environment.
A large open-gaming area will once again form the heart of the show, giving visitors space to sit down and play throughout the weekend. Supported by a dedicated board game library, attendees can borrow games and enjoy extended gaming sessions, with Saturday evening gaming continuing until 10pm.
With hundreds of titles to explore across the show – from leading publishers to independent creators and retailers – you’re sure to find your new favourite game. Visitors looking to purchase games and accessories can expect exclusive show offers from exhibitors, with hands-on demonstrations to try the latest releases before buying.
Alongside the exhibition, the event will feature talks from influencers and YouTubers, opportunities to meet the people behind some of the hobby’s biggest titles – as well as liveplay games!
Most talks and games are free but we’re delighted to welcome the funny folk from Dorks n Orks on Saturday afternoon – imagine Dungeons & Dragons… but funny. A bit like Lord of the Rings… but shorter. Think Game of Thrones… but without the nudity. Or budget. Tickets for Dorks n Orks are £5, with all purchases benefitting the mental health charity Game Therapy UK.
