
The theme for Lucca Comics & Games 2026, which celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the pop culture event, is “Legacy”
Celebrated Italian comic-book artist Claudio Castellini, best known for his work with Marvel Comics, has been chosen to create the official poster for Lucca Comics & Games 2026. The theme for the pop-culture event, which celebrates its 60th Anniversary in 2026, is “Legacy”.
Born in Rome in 1966, Castellini became well known in the 1990s for his highly detailed and realistic illustration style with Marvel and other major publishers. including titles such as Conan the Barbarian, Spider-Man, Silver Surfer and the crossover epic Marvel vs. DC. He first broke into the industry in 1989 as a lead artist for the popular Italian horror series Dylan Dog.

Attendance at Lucca Comics & Games grew to more than 900 guests, 730 exhibitors and 30,000 cosplayers in 2025, with the walled city hosting 1,500 events and 12 exhibitions. The 2026 has announced the following guests:
