Conquest presents its fifth Faction: The W’adrhŭn!

AND EVERYTHING THAT MAKES IT UNIQUE!

Hi. We are Para Bellum, the maker of the “Conquest”  tabletop fantasy gaming world.

Para Bellum is the child of that inner discussion all gamers have, the one that starts with “if I made my own game…” For years, its cradle was a rented storage room, filled with tables, glass displays and the smell of paint and plastic. Its voice was the laughs over our game tables and the discussions, about miniatures, about rules, about cost. Back then, it seemed a fantasy. Today, it seems inevitable, that one of us would walk in, gather us and say “I have this idea…”

Well, one did and here we are.

"Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings" is our first-born, the flagship of Para Bellum Wargames. It is a table top game of fantasy mass rank-and-file battles. With its own, fast paced system and set on an original and mature fantasy setting, with over fourteen factions weaved into the lore, Conquest was conceptualized and designed to provide to its players and carriers for years to come. The entire range of our regiments is comprised of hard plastic miniatures and is based on original art created by our in-house Studio and a ruleset written by one of the industry’s lead game designers, Alessio Cavatore.

Since the very beginning of our team, we have been talking about Conquest being a complete gaming experience, not simply a game. To complement our Mass Battles game and provide that experience, we designed “Conquest: First Blood” a fast-paced Wargame of thrilling Skirmish battles, set in the world of Conquest. First Blood was designed to provide to the players the opportunity to experience a different type of Conquest combat – but still play a Conquest battle.  After all, an entire war can be decided in a single skirmish…

Last but in no way least, we created the free, online Living World platform, an interactive way to bring our audience closer to us and to allow them to influence the lore of the world. Designed to allow the players to be involved and experience the lore of Conquest on an entirely different level, the Living World calls for the players of Conquest to influence the decisions of characters in the lore, participate in organized play events, gain rewards through our Account System and even decide the future of the game, by voting on the next faction to be released!
