Zombicide, Mythic Battles and Siege of the Citadel artist joins CMON

Zombicide, Blood Rage and The Others: 7 Sins publisher Cool Mini or Not has signed up one of its freelance artists for a full-time in-house role.

Over the last ten-plus years, Stefan Kopinski has worked on video games at companies including Capcom and THQ, miniatures titles at Games Workshop and Mantic, and more conventional board games at publishers including CMON, Monolith and Modiphius.

Among the tabletop games on his CV are Kickstarter success stories such as Mythic Battles: Pantheon and Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel’s second edition, plus CMON projects Zombicide: Black Plague (pictured) and The Others.

Kopinski will serve as a senior artist at CMON, as the publisher prepares to release games such as Eric Lang’s samurai-flavoured spiritual successor to Blood Rage, Rising Sun.

“Working with Stefan on The Others and then Zombicide: Black Plague was a true pleasure, and we’re happy to have him as part of the CMON family,” said CMON creative director David Preti.
