The creators of Porta Nigra are back with a card game spin-off to their well-loved 2013 transportation strategy board game Coal Baron.

Wolfgang Kramer and Michael Kiesling’s Coal Baron: The Great Card Game is a standalone take on the title that sees players mining and exporting coal in search of a fortune.

The pack includes nearly 240 cards, with a match taking between 50 to 80 minutes with up to four players.

The pair has teamed up with Stronghold Games and German outlet Eggertspiele to publish the title next year, although an exact date remains unannounced.

Other than the above, details on the release remain largely under wraps – we’ll let you know more as it comes in.
