The tree might have received a pruning, but the fun hasn’t

Everdell, the harmonious village game of woodland community collaboration, made a big impact when it hit these shores in 2019, and now its smaller sibling is set to do the same in My Lil’ Everdell. In a similar move to My Little Scythe or Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train (see our review in issue 74), this new game aims to slice the card and worker-placement feast into a more bite-sized portion for younger gamers. Jumping straight into pole position on BoardGameGeek’s Hotness chart, there’s certainly an interest for family play with this forest face-off.
