Monopoly F1 Edition brings Formula One and worldwide travel to your tabletop

Monopoly F1 Edition has players racing for both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships, including a central Grand Prix track

The chequered flag is waving for a brand-new crossover between two of the world’s biggest entertainment brands, as Monopoly and Formula One team up for the upcoming release of Monopoly Formula 1 Edition.

Launching at retail in July 2026, the officially licensed game transforms the classic property-trading formula into a globe-trotting motorsport showdown, with players racing for both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships. Published by Hasbro, the game supports between two and six players aged eight and above.

How to play Monopoly F1 Edition

Rather than buying streets and utilities, players select their favourite F1 team and travel to race locations around the world, defending their lead against rival racers while collecting challenge fees from opponents. A central Monopoly Grand Prix track also adds an extra competitive layer, with players advancing a driver helmet token every time they pass GO.

Designed squarely with motorsport fans in mind, Monopoly Formula 1 Edition appears to lean heavily into the spectacle and drama of modern F1, while still retaining the familiar structure that has kept Monopoly a family staple for decades. The game is being positioned as both a family board game and a collector’s item for Formula 1 enthusiasts.

The title arrives during a period of enormous mainstream growth for Formula 1, fuelled by expanding global audiences, blockbuster race weekends and the continued popularity of motorsport-focused entertainment. Tabletop publishers have increasingly looked to tap into that enthusiasm, with racing themes becoming more prominent across both hobby and mass-market games in recent years.

Monopoly Formula 1 Edition has an RRP of £39.99. Pre-orders are open now on Amazon UK and The Entertainer.
