Label dates kickstarted co-op deckbuilder and tree-growing card-layer
Publisher Indie Boards & Cards has confirmed two releases – one new and one a new version of something old – for November.
First, the new: Aeon’s End is a co-op deckbuilder with systems including a turn order mechanic and specific deck management requirements. Players take on the role of underground survivors in the city of Gravehold who are attempting to fight off The Nameless with a mixture of spells and abilities.
The game raised $190,000 on crowdfunding website Kickstarter, and will cost $49.99 in the US upon release – a UK price is yet to be confirmed.
Then, the old-but-also-new: IBC is revamping the charming ecological card-laying title Kodama for a second edition.
Players are tasked with looking after a magical forest for the titular tree spirits, placing cards to grow the flora over the course of three seasons and allow bugs and other creatures to flourish. The second edition will include the Sprout card pack, which comes with nine ‘beginner-friendly’ objectives.
Complete with rejigged box art, Kodama’s new print will cost $19.99 in the US.
