D&D Is Coming

This week we’re counting down to Dungeons and Dragons Live 2020: Roll w/ Advantage. The event takes place between 18th and 20th of June 2020, and will feature all sorts of celebrities, those famous from D&D and those famous from other media sources. We took a look at some of the names when this was first announced, so you can check those out here.

The latest to be announced is a reuniting of the Game of Thrones cast to play Dungeons and Dragons! The game will be run by Dungeon Master Kate Welch, who is also a game designer for D&D at Wizards of the Coast.

Playing the game will be Natalia Tena (Osha), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Daniel Portman (Podrick Payne) and Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy). It seems only fair that the Mother of Dragons is absent, as there would bound to be some kind of dragon advantage. As it stands, there’s nothing been said about whether these actors have played Dungeons and Dragons before, so we’ll anticipate a mixture of experiences, which usually means good humour can be found.

You can find them on Saturday 20th June 2020, at 12pm PST.

The Game of Thrones cast add to an already star-studded line up, which includes people like Karen Gillan, Matthew Lillard, Amy Acker, and stars of WWE Alexa Bliss, Tyler Breeze, Dio Maddin, Ember Moon, and Xavier Woods, to name but a few. You can find the events over on Twitch and Youtube over the course of the event.

D&D Live 2020: Roll w/ Advantage is in aid of Red Nose Day, so there’s plenty of opportunities to donate, or to make purchases where proceeds will go to the charity. This includes event apparel and a special adventure. You can also donate $10 to receive the ability to register through the D&D Live portal, which gets you access to advance registration for future events, four new short adventures, and the ability to choose the character best suited for Reality RP.

You can find the links you need to join in on D&D Live 2020 page.
