PlayFusion joins Escape the Dark Castle team, miniatures makers and more in growing convention line-up

The British studio working on upcoming Warhammer: Age of Sigmar trading card game Champions leads the latest big additions to this year’s Tabletop Gaming Live convention in Alexandra Palace.

PlayFusion also created toys-to-life franchise Lightseekers, which combines a physical card game, digital apps and action figures that can all be used together in a unified playing experience. Champions will be a similarly innovative physical-digital hybrid, with the game’s cards able to be played as a standalone game and imported into its digital app to allow the same collection to be viewed and used on both the tabletop and in online matches.

The outlet adds to a growing list of major board game, miniatures and roleplaying exhibitors making their way to London’s Alexandra Palace on September 29th and 30th for Tabletop Gaming Live.

Among some of the most recent additions is the Themeborne team behind retro adventure game Escape the Dark Castle, wargame specialists Colonel Bill’s and Pendraken Miniatures, the creators of mental health-promoting card game Book of Beasties, UK street culture-inspired game studio Trapland LDN, gaming terrain maker DMB Games, inventive games outlet Librium Games, and many, many more.

They add to an already heaving line-up of designers, artists, publishers and studios behind games including X-Wing, Pandemic, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Android: Netrunner, The Walking Dead: All Out War, Bushido, Dystopian Wars, Wild West Exodus, Catan, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Ticket to Ride, Frostgrave, Legend of the Five Rings, Arkham Horror, Adventures in Middle-earth and Kings of War, to name just a few.
