Show will feature Bolt Action and Kings of War tournaments, plus a bring and buy sale
A new miniatures and wargaming convention is headed to Sheffield this year, and its name is ChillCon.
Taking place in Ecclesfield School along Chapeltown Road in the northern city, ChillCon will be held on Saturday May 27th from 10am until four in the afternoon.
Among some of the events taking place during the show will be a bring and buy sale, as well as tournaments for some of the historical, fantasy and sci-fi miniatures games at the show.
The first two competitions announced will be for Warlord’s historical favourite Bolt Action (pictured) and Mantic’s fantasy hit Kings of War, which will cost £12 to enter with a 1,000 point army in the former and a 1,500 point force in the latter.
Entry to the whole show will be £5 for a single ticket, with students and young adults getting a £1 discount and those who pre-book ahead of time also getting some money off. A family ticket for two adults and two young adults is £15. At least £1 from every ticket will also go to charity.
Take a look at some of the exhibitors attending the show and read some more about the inaugural convention on the ChillCon site.
