Board game’s Max travelling across Europe as part of ‘Year of the Train’

You can hop on board with Alan R. Moon’s Spiel des Jahres-winning modern classic Ticket to Ride for the low price of nothing on PC at the moment.

Publisher Days of Wonder is giving away copies of the digital edition on Steam as part of its ‘Year of the Train’ celebration of the 2004 hit, which has shifted a staggering three million copies in the last decade-plus.

To nab a free code for the PC version, you’ll need to enter your details on the Ticket to Ride with Max website, which will also enter you into a competition to win a copy of spin-off Ticket to Ride: Europe.

While the promotion is running, an actress dressed as the board game’s character Max is travelling across Europe, giving away ‘Golden Tickets’ and entries into a second competition to win a trip for two on the Orient Express.

Having started in London and passed through Paris, Max is currently in the German city of Frankfurt, before she finishes up her journey in Denmark capital Copenhagen on September 24th – which might mark the end of the digital giveaway, so don’t hang around if you want to grab the deal.
