248-page hardcover book including seven adventures out in March

Wizards of the Coast is resurrecting some of Dungeons & Dragons’ most popular adventures from throughout the RPG’s 40-plus-year history in a new physical book.

Tales from the Yawning Portal updates seven modules to be compatible with the latest fifth edition ruleset, including Against the Giants, Dead in Thay, Forge of Fury, Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, Sunless Citadel, Tomb of Horrors and White Plume Mountain.

The 248-page hardcover volume features stats, monsters, traps and items that can be rolled into an existing campaign.

Although the title alludes to the eponymous tavern of Waterdeep in the Forgotten Realms, guidelines for integrating the adventures into other settings such as Greyhawk, Dragonlance and Eberron are included.

Tales from the Yawning Portal is expected to hit hobby store shelves on March 24th, followed by wide release on April 4th. It will cost $50 in the US – so probably just over £40 over here.
