Weekly Kickstarter Round Up: Wednesday 21 July 2021

What are you backing this week?

Welcome to another Kickstarter Round Up! This week we've got some surreal RPGs – be you an animal, or a liar who can manipulate reality – a game that asks you to demonstrate your humanity, fighting cars in a deathly race, and more.

Animal Adventures: The Faraway Sea

Why should humans have all the fun? This project from Steamforged brings a magical fog known as the Rift, to Animal Adventures, which, as the title suggests, is a roleplaying game centred around playing as specific animals. Here, you can be an albatross, an alpaca, a fox, goat, Koala, orangutan, otter, pig, rabbit, or red panda, alongside a variety of classes. Plus, if you pledge for certain levels you can pick up the Kickstarter exclusive Baby Kraken, which can only be described as adorable.

Is it funded? Yes

Lancaster Board & Sword

We like to end a KS Round up with something a little board game adjacent, and a board game cafe in Lancaster seems the perfect way to do it! This FLGS is moving to a cafe, offering more space, more tables, food, drinks, and those all important games. This Kickstarter has funded, but with anything extra , in their words, "it could be even more awesome".
