Second edition core rulebook can be picked up for under a pound in Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle’s latest collection of RPG books is all about Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, with the first and second editions of the game available for a song.

The pay-what-you-want deal brings together a reported $386 worth of rulebooks and supplements for the classic spin-off of the miniatures wargame, starting at $1 – or around 75p – for the 2004 second edition core rulebook and adventure anthologies Plundered Vaults, Ashes of Middenheim and Spires of Altdorf.

More significantly, up your price to $20 (£15) and you’ll be able to check out the first edition rulebook for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay – the first time the 1986 original has been officially published in a digital form.

The top-tier bundle also includes the Game Master’s Park, Career Compendium and a bunch of other adventures and supplements for the second edition, from bestiaries and armouries to spell books.

All of the books come in a DRM-free PDF format, with the money going towards publisher Cubicle 7, Humble Bundle and the charity Action Against Hunger (or another organisation of your choice) in whatever proportion you choose.

The sale will run for the next two weeks, preceding the launch of Cubicle 7’s fourth edition of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and its new, separate RPG based on Warhammer miniatures game Age of Sigmar later this year.
