Fighting Fantasy Legends teased by UK studio Nomad Games
The UK development studio behind the digital adaptation of Games Workshop’s Talisman board game has teased its next tabletop-to-video game project: Fighting Fantasy.
Details on Fighting Fantasy Legends are extremely thin on the ground, with a six-second teaser trailer showing a brief glimpse of a map and the name the only solid information at the moment.
As well as bringing Talisman to PC, PS4 and PlayStation Vita (the latter formats arriving earlier this year), Nomad Games also ported card game Smash Up to mobile and PC.
Fighting Fantasy is the series of choose-your-own-adventure gamebooks written by Games Workshop founders Ian Livingstone and Steve Jackson beginning in 1982.
Jackson later adapted the books into an RPG, with the Warlock of Firetop Mountain and Legend of Zagor stories turned into standalone board games – the former was then turned into a mobile and tablet game in 2010.
Livingstone recently revealed that he is working on a new Fighting Fantasy instalment to mark the series’ 35th anniversary this August.
