Popular Wargaming Show is Delayed to November 2021

This week, we commented on the delay to UK Games Expo, and we're continuing on a similar theme with the delay to Salute 2021.

The popular wargaming show by the South London Warlords was due to take place at the London Excel Centre on 10th April, as it has done so in similar periods in previous years. However, much like other shows, it has raised concerns over the likely safety of traders and attendees in line with government guidelines, and made the decision to move the show dates. It will now take place on Saturday 13th November 2021.

This is in order to give the show the highest chances of being able to go ahead, that will allow the public to feel and be safe in attending, hopefully without restrictions in place. It was a sad day when the 2020 show was cancelled, and so this gives a reasonable (hopefully) amount of time for circumstances to change, and prevent further cancellation. Though not yet confirmed, it is likely previous tickets will be honoured for attendance, as has been the case with other shows.

The hope is that in future years it will return to an earlier time of year show.

For now, if you're wondering what you might have missed, or may be able to look forward to, we have a feature on the game that the club would have played, honouring the Battle of Britain, which you can check out by clicking here.
