Free downloadable, print-and-play and digital games released by board game publishers

We’ve already highlighted a few of the things that publishers and retailers are doing for the general population who are stuck at home during this pandemic.

Lucky Duck, known for both their board and digital games, have offered their Chronicles of Crime mobile games free to play until April 2nd.

(App Store | Google Play). The Kickstarter for the analogue Chronicles of Crime games ends today, so now’s your last chance to back it

Portal Games are offering a plethora of games to keep you occupied. Starting with Detective: Suburbia, which can be played entirely standalone from the base game. Fans of Empires of the North will also be pleased to hear that three new solo scenarios are available, including a trip to Japan, a run in with some Ice Giants and some good of fashioned farming. We’re not quite at ‘dig for victory’ but it hardly hurts!

ScaledCon is an online tabletop gaming convention, partly created to fill the gap left by Conpulsion (featured in issue 41’s event preview). The event will take place on the 4th April and will use various tabletop simulation tools, discord, and other . Like Conpulsion, ScaledCon will also have charity auctions and donations are welcome. If you want to get involved and help out, get in touch with the team using: [email protected] or pick up a ticket here.
