Add-on to Lovecraftian spin-off includes five new investigators and two extra scenarios, which will lead into the upcoming eponymous campaign
The card game spin-off to horror tabletop hit Arkham Horror might be yet to hit shelves, but Fantasy Flight has already announced a first expansion for the title.
The Dunwich Legacy will add 156 full-size and five mini cards to Arkham Horror: The Card Game, which will bring five new investigators – including a chef, musician and reporter – to the campaign-driven game.
Unlike the characters from the base game, the Dunwich investigators will not have primary and secondary classes, meaning they can select up to five level zero cards from other classes to round out their abilities.
It will also introduce two new scenarios, Extracurricular Activity and The House Always Wins, making use of 11 fresh encounter sets and the Clover Club and Miskatonic University settings.
The missions serve as the prelude to the upcoming eight-part Dunwich Legacy campaign, which will be continued in a cycle of six Mythos packs planned for release in the future.
The Dunwich Legacy expansion for Arkham Horror: The Card Game is set for release later this year.
