Blood Bowl comic book series will come full of More Guts, More Glory this May

Hot on the blood-soaked heels of Blood Bowl’s recent return to the tabletop, Games Workshop has teamed up with literary publisher Titan to produce a comic book series inspired by the long-running fantasy football game.

Blood Bowl: More Guts, More Glory will follow fallen star Dreng Sturmblud as he recovers from hitting rock bottom and tries to throw, fight, kick and tackle his back to glory as part of the human Hochland Harbingers team competing in the Blood Bowl League.

Writing the series will be Warhammer 40,000 scribe Nick Kyme, with illustrations by Teen Titans and Birds of Prey artist Jack Jadson.

The first issue will hit shelves in the UK on May 10th, and includes five variant covers by different artists.
